"My colleagues speak very good English and are open-minded. That made it easy for me," Nikhil Apte recalls of starting his career at Pendix in Zwickau.

The company develops and produces innovative electric drives for e-bikes. Together with his colleagues, he managed to find his way around in the German language step by step.

Nikhil Apte advises any student who wants to be successful abroad to place plenty of emphasis on language skills in addition to their actual subject. This was a learning process for his boss, Christian Hennig, too.
