Steve from Glauchau: Chef and restaurant owner

Carrying on the tradition:
A new beginning and back to the roots.

Steve Tuchscherer took over the "Stadt Altenburg" restaurant in Glauchau in 2022. It was a new beginning after many years working in Abu Dhabi, New York and London.

Steve originally comes from the Zwickau region, so it also marked a return to his roots. Taking on the reins of a restaurant with a long tradition is of course an entrepreneurial challenge.

But this sports enthusiast can really step on the gas in his craft, because he even cooked at Formula 1 races. Steve is in his element exercising. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling through the Zwickau region on the Mulde Valley cycle track.
